Welcome Words

Thank you for participating to this very first International Conference on Sustainable Biomass (ICSB) 2010 in Taipei , ; Experts from France, China and Japan , as well Taiwan renewable energies eminent specialists , total 60 VIP will contribute to the conference, including oral sessions, poster sessions and round tables discussions with representatives of the EU representation office in Taiwan , French Institute in Taipei, French Scientific action and Taiwanese Economic ministerial Energy agency, Environmental Bureau, Ministry of the Education, Foreign affairs, Scholars from Taiwan most prestigious Universities and institutions involved in Energy, Environment and sustainable economic issues, as well as some industrial researchers and their applications, Graduate students and PhD candidates, and media press.

This conference venue has been made possible, thanks to the Orchid project of the NSC- Egide and strong supports from several sponsors in Taiwan, and we return to them our grateful thoughts ( list out ):

Now we are close to the opening, certainly all the contributors have enthusiastically helped for the conference to happen. Particularly we thank all the active executive participants, Orchid partners , French team as well as the Taiwanese team , as well as all the organizing committee members, the GIES team : The involving time and energies of Professors, Assistants, Graduate students, and the very devoted Conference secretariat.

We are also very thankful for the posters authors for their registrations and has begun to receive their posters. In this sense the organizing committee just consulted and willing to grant to each one of them a bonus prize to show our gratitude for their support to the ICSB 2010. We expect and recommend each of you to find the time to come and receive in person this grant, thank you again,
